Prof. Dr Anja Schiemann studied law at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Following her legal apprenticeship, she worked at the Frankfurt branch of the publishing house C.H. Beck and as a practicing lawyer. From 2014 to 2022, she was a professor at the German Police University in Münster. Since 2022, she has held the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminal Policy at the University of Cologne.
Büşra Akay is Akademische Rätin (Avademic Advisor) at the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminal Policy held by Prof. Dr Anja Schiemann at the University of Cologne. She studied law in Cologne, Istanbul and Münster and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the field of law and literature.
Hannah Schulze Zurmussen studied law at the University of Cologne and is currently pursuing a PhD in criminal law. Her academic interests lie particularly in the interdisciplinary relations between criminal law, literature, language and culture.
