Abstract

This paper presents the simulation game ‘De-/Categorisation in the assessment procedure for special educational needs’ as a teaching/learning method for teacher training, including teaching materials and evaluation results. Participants engage in role-specific negotiations regarding the assessment of special educational needs in a simulated case. The simulation's multi-perspective reflection of pedagogical decisions is designed to facilitate professionalisation for inclusion.
