Künstliche Intelligenz in der Mathematikdidaktik - KI-gestütztes Forschen, Lehren und Lernen
Each year, an issue is published on a mathematics educaation topic in which all contributions relate to a common theme. The respective issue is supervised by guest editors together with an editor of mathematica didactica. Possible topics should reflect current research accents that are important in mathematics education and whose presentation in a thematic issue has a special added value, both in "classical" and in more recent fields of research in mathematics education.
The call for the thematic focus 2025 is dedicated to data literacy and aims to bundle the current state of discussed theoretical perspectives, teaching concepts and approaches to the development of data literacy as well as new challenges posed by artificial intelligence.
The call for the thematic issue 2024 refers to mathematics teaching and learning at universities and focuses on theoretical foundations and empirical investigations for a subject-specific didactics of higher education.
Until 2020, mathematica didactica was published by the Franzbecker publishing house both online first and in two printed issues per year. Since 2021, the articles in mathematica didactica have been published exclusively online in open access.
