Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit contributions to this working paper series at any time via the following email address: contact(at)wpkts.de.

All submissions will undergo a thorough editorial review to ensure academic quality, conceptual clarity, and consistency with the objectives of the series. Authors will receive detailed feedback and will be asked to revise their working paper accordingly before publication.

Before submitting an article, authors are required to obtain permission to publish any accompanying material such as photographs, documents and data sets. All persons who contributed to the submission must be named. All persons named in the submission must agree to be named. The requirements for the publication of a thesis are the consent of the supervisor and/or institution and their mention in the foreword. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country. Any contractual conditions regarding confidentiality agreements, e.g. with industry partners, must also be observed. No work may be submitted that has been generated predominantly or exclusively by AI. The scope and type of use of AI must be disclosed in the paper, e.g. in the introduction (which AI was used for what purpose and to what extent?).

Editors may reject submissions if they do not fit within the series' thematic scope or do not meet minimum quality standards and principles of social science research (e.g. Ethics in Social Science and Humanities). Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are appropriately structured and formulated. The title should be concise, and the abstract should be able to stand alone.
