Abstract

Das Paradies wird in der Regel nicht einfach mal eben so gefunden, irgendwo, und es wird auch nicht gern einfach so benannt. Es muss verstärkt und beglaubigt werden, und bestätigt. "Das ist doch wirklich ein Paradies!" - "Ein richtiges Paradies ist das hier!" - "Das ist echt das Paradies, warten Sie nur ab!". Immer mit Ausrufezeichen und immer echt, wirklich, richtig, als ob man sich versichern müsse, dass es nun endlich erkannt ist. Dass das Paradies derart zu bestätigen und zu verstärken ist, liegt vermutlich daran, dass es sich beim Paradies um eine widersprüchliche Utopie handelt: etwas, das einerseits ein Nochnichtort ist, also etwas, das erst noch zu erblicken ist, und andererseits etwas, das dennoch schon einmal gewesen ist, weil man ja immerhin daraus vertrieben wurde. Eine Utopie, die Vergangenheit hat.
