This volume is the result of various discussions, strands of work and cooperation with others. It has been inspired by a project on ‘tourism and ruination'. The published texts and images are part of an exhibition which was shown at the University of Cologne in June 2017 during a conference titled ‘The Global South on the Move’. Further materials and images on the exhibition and an installation on the university campus can be found in the blog of The Mouth.
