Digitale Räume und digitale Ränder. Wissensaushandlung auf YouTube , gutefrage.net und anderen Social - Media - Plattformen

Abstract

Digitalisierungsprozesse verändern Arten und Weisen der Aneignung und Aushandlung von Wissen und Kompetenzen wie auch Bildungskonzepte und daran gebundene normative Vorstellungen, mit denen ihr Gelingen beurteilt wird. Formelle und informelle, institutionalisierte und selbstgesteuerte Lernprozesse werden durchlässiger, gehen in völlig anderen Interaktionskontexten auf und bringen veränderte Wissensdiskurse, Rollenkonstellationen und Sozialisationsinstanzen hervor, die in der Transformation literaler Praktiken resultieren. Dies kann man z.B. inYouTube-(Erklär)Videos, in Schülerforen oder Community-Plattformen wie Jodel und gutefrage.net beobachten, in denen Wissensfragen, Meinungen wie auch Bewertungen, Anschuldigungen und Beleidigungen ausgetauscht werden. Neue Formen und Formate der Aushandlung haben politische Dimensionen, insofern Fragen von Zugang, Partizipation und Ungleichheit neu verhandelt werden–und die Schule ist der Ort, an dem diese Veränderungen greifbar werden.

Der Beitrag skizziert an unterschiedlichen Beispielen, wie sich Darstellungs-und Kommunikationsformate und darauf bezogene Aneignungspraktiken durch Digitalisierung verändern, und welche (politischen) Implikationen damit für das schulische Lernen, den Deutschunterricht und die fachdidaktische Diskussion verbunden sind.

Abstract (english): Digital spaces and digital edges. Negotiations of knowledge on youtube, gutefrage.net and other social media platforms

Digitization processes are changing the ways in which knowledge and competencies are acquired, as well as concepts of education and the normative ideas associated with them. Formal and informal, institutionalized andself-directed learning processes become more permeable, merge into completely different contexts of interaction, and produce altered knowledge discourses, role constellations, and socialization instances. They result in the transformation of Literacy. This can be observed, for example, in YouTubevideos, in student forums or community platforms such as Jodel and gutefrage.net, where questions, comments, opinions as well as evaluations, accusations and insults are exchanged. New forms and formats of negotiation have political dimensions, insofar as questions of access, participation and inequality are renegotiated.

Referring to different examples the article outlines, how formats of communication and related practices of appropriation are changing through digitization, and what (political) implications this has for school, didactics and the teaching of German.
